How much ice cream can you eat at one sitting?
I don’t really know. On several occasions I have polished off an entire half-gallon during the course of a movie. I probably could have kept going, but there was no more ice cream in the house.
Why start one more “mom blog”?
To be honest, I almost didn’t start one because there are so many blogs like this out there in internet world. Then I realized that was a silly reason not to begin one. I like blogging and have missed it since my days on the Appalachian Trail. Plus, I am hoping to assemble the games, songs, crafts, and other activities I have collected into one location as a resource for myself as well as my friends and family. If nothing else, it will serve as a location to see pictures of my cute pumpkin.
What words do you have to spell out in front of Aurora?
E-L-M-O. S-W-I-M-S-U-I-T. C-O-O-K-I-E (thanks, Dad).
What is your parenting philosophy?
Ah. Good question. Hard for me to answer. I don’t really adhere to any one school of thought. I collect lots of ideas from the information I read about different styles; then I use the guidelines and techniques that make sense to me. Major emphasis is put on making my child healthy and happy. Special attention is also given to minimizing stress for my husband and me.
What is your favorite adjective to describe Aurora?
Earnest.
