As is true for most mornings, Adeline woke first. She played and played and played with
her Valentine’s balloon. It is
probably the most well received Valentine’s gift I have ever given.
Adeline was a good twenty minutes into bouncing her balloon
when we heard Aurora chirps upstairs.
She promptly unwrapped her candy hearts and ate sweets for
breakfast.
The day before she colored her Valentines, carefully cut
them out, and wrote her name on each one.
Then we stuffed them into Danish hearts.
